  Checklist of Documents to be submitted by the Consumer for Obtaining Regular Water Connection -

  Category-I (Govt. House)

• Copy of allotment letter of House (self attested)
• Copy of Possession letter of House (self attested)

• Copy of allotment letter (self attested)
• Copy of Possession letter (self attested)
• Copy of Attorney in case of GPA (Attested by Notary Public/ Magistrate)

  Category-III (Society Flats)

• Copy of allotment letter (self attested)
• Copy of Possession letter of House (self attested)
• Copy of Possession letter (self attested)
• Copy of Occupation/ Completion Certificate from the Estate Office (Self attested)
• No Due Certificate regarding Water Charges during construction
• Receipt of Sewerage Charges (issued by XEN, M.C.P.H.-4, Chandigarh).
• Certificate from licensed Plumber on application form.
• Power of attorney in case of GPA (Attested by Notary Public/ Magistrate)

• Copy of allotment letter (self attested)
• Attested copy of N.O.C. issued by XEN, M.C. Road Division 1 & 2 in case of Chandigarh/ A.C.-II, M.C., Chandigarh in case of Manimajra
• Receipt of Payment of Road Cut restoration charges, if involved.
• Certificate from licensed Plumber on Application Form.
• Power of Attorney in case of GPA (Attested by Notary Public/ Magistrate).

  Note:  All connections for such rehabilitation colonies shall be metered.

  Category-V (HOUSES LOCATED IN VILLAGES)

• Copy for proof of ownership (Self attested).
• Attested copy of N.O.C. issued by XEN, M.C. Road Division 1 & 2 in case of Chandigarh/ A.C.-II, M.C., Chandigarh in case of Manimajra
• Receipt of Payment of Road Cut restoration charges, if involved
• Certificate from licensed Plumber on Application Form
• Power of Attorney in case of GPA (Attested by Notary Public/ Magistrate
• Receipt of Sewerage Charges (Deposit in the office of EE, M.C.P.H.-4, in case of Chandigarh/ office of the SDE, MCPH-8, Chandigarh in case of Manimajra).  

• Copy for proof of ownership.
• Copy of Occupation Certificate from the Estate Office (Self attested)
• No Due Certificate regarding Water Charges during construction

• NOC regarding final payment against temporary water connection from SDE-In Charge..

  Category-VII (PRIVATE HOUSES) SECOND CONNECTION FOR UPPER FLOORS

• Copy of Ownership proof (Self attested).
• Certificate from Licensed Plumber for separate plumbing system on application form.
• Receipt of Payment of Road Cut restoration charges, if involved.
• If house on share percentage basis then an affidavit duly attested by Magistrate is required for Floor Clarification.

  Category-VIII (COMMERICIAL SITES LIKE SCO, SCF, BOOTHS, SCHOOLS & OTHER SITES)

• Copy of ownership proof (Self attested). 
• Copy of Occupation Certificate from Estate Office (Self attested)
• Receipt of Sewerage Charges (Deposit in the office of EE, M.C.P.h.-4, in case of Chandigarh/office of the SDE, MCPH-8, Chandigarh in case of Manimajra).
• Receipt of Sewerage Charges (Deposit in the office of EE, M.C.P.h.-4, in case of Chandigarh/office of the SDE, MCPH-8, Chandigarh in case of Manimajra).
• NOC regarding final payment against temporary water connection from SDE-In Charge.

  Checklist of Documents to be submitted by the Consumer for obtaining temporary Water Connection -

• Copy of allotment letter of House/Plot (self attested).
• Copy of Possession letter of House/Plot(self attested)
• Copy of Demarcation certificate issued by SDE-Survey/R-2(Self attested). 
• Plinth level certificate issued by EE, M.C.P.H. Division No. 3, Chandigarh. 
• Certificate from licensed Plumber on application form.
• Receipt of Payment of Road Cut restoration charges, if involved.
• Copy of sanctioned building plan showing covered area (Self Attested).
• Copy of sanctioned building plan letter (Self attested).

  Temporary Water Connection for Short Period for Misc. Purpose (Like fair, Circus or any  other Activity).

• Copy of permission of use of area & purpose (self attested).
• Plumbing work is to be done by the consumer

• Copy of allotment letter (Self attested)
• Receipt of Payment of Road Cut restoration charges, if involved.
• Certificate from the concerned department regarding deduction of water charges @ 1% or calculated by Rs. 5/- per sq ft of total covered area.

  Connection for irrigation purpose for development of parks, roundabouts & road bearms on contract.

• Copy of allotment letter (Self attested)
• Copy of approved drawing (Self attested)
• Copy of M.O.U. (Self attested).
• Receipt of Payment of Road Cut restoration charges, if involved.

  Notes :-

• For obtaining temporary water connection for private houses/ SCO/ SCF or other buildings, the consumer is supposed to be deposit fee @ Rs. 5/- per square feet of covered area. However, the amount worked out by the concerned SDE in such cases shall be final. The requisite fee shall be in shape of DD/ Pay Order from the Scheduled bank in favor of C.M.C. Executive Engineer, M.C.P.H. Division No. 2, Sector-11, Chandigarh or also deposit in cash in the office of the concerned SDE against proper receipt.
• The application form duly filled in along with requisite documents given above category wise shall be deposited along with requisite fee in the SDE, Water Supply, Sub Division No. 4, 5, 6 &8, Chandigarh.
